Health & Wellness Coaching

Trained health and wellness coaches can help you achieve your wellness goals and connect you with resources you need for accountability and support.

What is health and wellness coaching?

Health and wellness coaching is a customized approach to establishing healthy habits. A health coach can help you identify and plan your health goals, and provide supportive resources as you move toward those goals in a way that works best for you.

Health and wellness coaching can help you achieve healthy habits in areas like:
  • Sleep
  • Regular physical activity
  • Eating habits
  • Managing and reducing stress
  • Motivation and work-life balance
  • Reducing or quitting smoking

Nutrition, Fitness, and Wellbeing

MIT Health's Community Wellness helped develop several courses for physical education credit through the Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation (DAPER). Topics include the components and benefits of a healthy diet, physical activity, and stress management, as well as tips on achieving personal goals and boosting productivity.

Whether your goal is weight management, improved athletic performance, or managing a medical condition, MIT Recreation’s nutrition program can provide you with the tools you need to sustain a meal plan that fits your lifestyle.

Purchase a nutrition coaching session or package through the MIT Recreation app.

An MIT Health registered dietitian/nutritionist can provide consultations for dietary and medical needs.
